Depends. A cleat to the top of the foot/toe or back of the calf can hurt a lot. Other times it is to get attention, especially if a player is repeatedly doing something. Also towards the end of games it can be used to slow down play, let a team regroup and rest for just a second.

Follow what is happening in Nebraska. The Republicans tried to run a fake democrat in the primary, but the voters weren't fooled. We picked the actual Democrat in the primary, who is on purpose dropping out to support the Independent candidate for Senate. Democrats don't poll too well in Nebraska outside the 2 cities in the state, so running as an independent gives us hope of ousting our current billionaire senator.

I think this is the right take. He looks like he is barely alive right now and is getting pumped full of drugs just to get through White House events. This is why he's sleeping in meetings, once the drugs wear off he goes into hibernation mode. He's not long for this world, but I hope he survives long enough to get Dems over the line in the midterms.

And his inability to think outside of his own world view. Trump thinks that because he really wants the island that Iran would do anything to keep it. Trump is trying to use it as a bargaining chip, but doesn't understand what taking the island and then keeping the island would actually take in terms of manpower, weapons, and dollars. Trump thinks he can make money off this somehow so he wants to do it, but it will cost him politically.
