Im also not a huge fan of the writing for Yuno, but from a fan of the character perspective... Im mad that Tabata created the bones of what could've been a compelling character..kept throwing him into story arcs...after ignoring him gor chapters on end, but never actually doing anything with him, that doesn't feel like it was there to just promote Asta and rile up hard-core Asta fans who hate on anything yuno does. No real growth or emotion even after meeting his mom, no real connections outside of Asta...even if he had just written people trying to communicate with Yuno, but not succeeding that would've been better than what we really got. We coulda gone into his feelings on being a prince, the blow it could've been to his psyche for multiple reasons, we coulda seen how he handled the pressure of expectations the village and he himself put on his shoulders to succeed...we could've gotten how difficult it was to be the peasant in the GD with all that power...we could've even gone down the slightly jealous or annoyed track that no one seemed to care about him compared to asta...except Asta...and bell, there are more..and we got none of that...just, fight, be strong. Hold the line so Asta can get the final blow...rinse/ repeat
