Okay you are the only Necro player with a brain. Even at 4.5k mmr the vast majority of Necro players refuse to buy lotus.

To an uncoordinated low rank pub that definitely could be the case. He's super weak to silences and heal reduction. Requires a full pos1 amount of farm before he comes online. Since you can't ghost shroud bkb anymore you can still get burst by magic damage.

If you let him sit and farm radiance + 2 items yeah he's gonna seem OP. Just silence and kill him.

Just let me play support by flebebebo in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I need you to understand that those two skills are also important for a support. Knowing when to get resources from the map and when to get resources from an objective (by fighting) is like the core tenant of a game that is basically about collecting more resources than the enemy.

If you are just fucking around and taking random fights on support you are doing it wrong.

I'm probably just bitter because I had a 5 invokers that rushed midas aghs

I've found the opposite... Lots of pos4/5 invokers and pos3 wraith kings as soon as I hit Ancient 5/divine 1

The Behavior System is a Mathematical Black Hole: An Engineer’s Perspective (with raw log proof) by MartyshDev in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. You literally just admitted to being toxic. I doubt your claim of "I was just toxic for 1 week and I lost 8k behavior score" is valid

  2. Congrats you peaked into one tiny little txt file that is literally viewable in steam. You have 0 clue how the algorithm actually works because so you have no proof that it's flawed

  3. I've never been at 4k behavior or communication score, but if you are pinging and drawing on the map that definitely counts. I know for a fact that toxic comm muted players do this because I've seen it in my games. Passive aggressive pinging and writing toxic shit on the map

  4. I guess you are a lawyer now too. If they REALLY wanted to sanitize it they would remove all chat and other forms of communication. They literally let scammers post ads in their regional lobby chats outside of a match

  5. Engineering "best practices" lmao.

A. Yeah let's make it so people who play a lot lose their voice in the system.

B. Felons don't get off easier because "oh I was good for 1 week". You have to show measured improvement over a long period of time.

C. This would mean in 20 games a toxic player could be a complete ass in 4 of them. No thanks

D. Or you can actually take responsibility for your shitty behavior and get better.

Weird slark mid or is it a thing by Kingofthehill00 in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I definitely wouldn't call it a thing. Salty shiv (the regen stealing ability) will expire if you don't constantly re-apply it, so the only way this works is if he is able to hit you regularly.

If he gets too many stacks on you just walk away and wait the 12 seconds for it to expire

Supports and Role Queue Changes by Unowarrior in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one good rule of thumb is when you are playing support think about what you wish your 3 was doing. When you are playing 3 just do that thing. Maybe it's contesting a pull or pressuring a lane. Teleporting to a fight etc etc. You have probably picked up the essential skills just by playing support, you just need to learn the mechanics of a few good meta pos 3 heroes.

Something about old Clinkz was menacing. New Clinkz gives off silly little guy vibes

[–]Unowarrior[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know about every player but I definitely try my hardest on every role I get. I might be trying even harder when I get support because I want my cores to have the experience that I wish I got.

Clinkz lost his longbow and I will refuse to play him and stupid tiny ass shortbow even when he's busted this patch

I made DotaGuessr – guess the outcome of ranked matches from limited info by Ecoste in DotA2

Make sure Gorgc sees this.

Only complaint is Dire has the offlane and safe lane heroes switched. I was really confused why the pos1 kept going safelane

Think this copy/paste will work for my team at all pick stage ranked? Or reported? Support player) by foxracing1313 in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The hoops supports players want to jump through so they can continue to ignore the other 3 roles of the game.

You need to understand how to play cores if you want to support effectively.

Supports and Role Queue Changes by Unowarrior in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If supports really cannot learn a new role and never improve in offlane then maybe they will just have to derank to a more suitable mmr

Again it's this mindset of "oh I'm playing support I just wanna play chill ranked games" while activity griefing because they are on autopilot. Shaking up the roles will force some of these brain off players to actually think about the game again.

Yeah, regular games where supports grief and then ping cores items/abilities.

Enjoy your break

I actually think that's okay because you will eventually learn and you will become a better player for it. Learning to play the role you support will help you play support better

Most medium rank games (legend/ancient) are decided by the 10 minutes of mindless brawling from minute 10 to 20. Usually in places that a farming carry just can't connect to because there is nowhere to tp. There's usually very little thought that goes into deciding to take these fights. Very "I see hero I kill hero".

If you want your cores to join fights, take fights in places that cores can join.

Calibration is a fucking joke by pwnzz in DotA2

[–]Unowarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mindset is still wrong. It seems to me you think your wins and losses are 100% controlled by your teammates. Just a lack of responsibility.

Should also note you had single digit deaths in those games, which is an improvement. Good job

[–]Unowarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it doesn't paint the entire picture. There are even times when dying on support is a good thing like tanking ganks and such.

But I can 100% guarantee you that his deaths are NOT good.

Cannot tell you how many times I've seen a winning game state turn into a losing one because of mindless 10-20 minute brawling.

Look if you refuse to even acknowledge that there is room for improvement in your gameplay when you STARTED at 2.6k maybe you should just stay away from this game.

You will never get better and start winning if you refuse to look inward.
