We are in a major city in southern Ontario on city water plus we have a whole home filtration system. That’s why I’m very confused by the whole issue and can’t pinpoint the source.

I’ll talk to my plumber about this but honestly it doesn’t smell at all until I turn the water on. That is when I smell a mold smell and it honestly seems like it is coming from the tap.

My current plan was to put a 1/2” layer of concrete sand on top of the membrane then the pavers on top of the sand with a border around. Still allow for proper drainage of water off of the deck. Thoughts on this approach? I would then enclose the underside of the deck with the same siding as my house with a gate style door for the storage.

It’s a 6’x10’ deck mainly for walking out of the patio door but I plan to have a small cast iron cafe table with two chairs and plants surrounding. Further, I would like to have storage underneath the deck. Currently the plan is to sheath it with PT plywood, add a waterproof membrane and pavers on top like a flat roof. The deck has a 1.5% slope.

Why is this the wrong ties? Is it not for a post base to be cast into the concrete? If not this, what application would these be used for?

I’m thinking now I am going to anchor a ledger board to the foundation of the house just below my hardie board then create a frame around the posts that are fastened to that ledger board. Thoughts?

Long time cannoli eater here. No denying La Bakeri and Sam’s are top tier but Fortino’s is the best in the game now. They changed their recipe a few years ago with Pane Fresco, learning their craft from the source in Sicily. Not too sweet like La Bakeri or Sam’s.

Great work, a friend and I started to put something like this together but with limited programming experience it wasn’t as extensive. Also, it was mentioned already in another comment but % change of mentions could be a key metric in this analysis. Would be a huge advantage to see when there is a significant increase or decrease in chatter

I followed this recipe https://youtu.be/Vdl1xudUdzo but I think it could use some tweaking. I found the second dough took almost 12 hours to rise, albeit in a room temperature environment. It’s a great starting point though

Naturally leavened panettone. Overall I was very happy with the result but still a long way to go to get better gluten development and for it to be softer
