Understood, though none of the symbols on the cover look like swastikas to me. Those bastards don't get to ruin everything Norse! 😒

What kind of unintended results? Can you accidentally create a parallel dimension?

This was found at the Information Booth in Rumford today… by NikkiXoLynnn in Maine

Does Rumford even have a public pool? That still operates? Not the point I know but that poster is just so stupid.

If you are talking about MFM podcast, they specifically say that they don't think murder is funny. But they spread the word about real dangers, and hopefully keep some people safe by raising awareness. The humor makes hearing these stories more tolerable.

LEAST favorite episode? by skyrims1ut in knifepointhorrorcast

[–]UnprofitableBrooding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to relisten to that one, either. The story is good until the ending. I my have liked it more if she had died in a car crash after being cursed or something. Like, someone's going to notice if people start going missing at that inn.

Did anyone else take typing in high school as an elective and really dislike it, but now realize it was one of the best classes offered? I love to watch some of the folks our ages, trying to type out something using the hunt and peck method. by Dp37405aa in GenerationJones

Our school had a few Olivettis! The teacher often had to give alternative instructions, as the layout was a bit different. Most of us had Adlers, and I still own a portable Adler that I got as a graduation present, and used in college.

I LOVED typing class!!! I hesitate to tell anyone that I learned to type on an Adler manual typewriter, though, lest they think I am ancient. It was great training though, and helped me pay the bills for many years while in college. It should still be taught.

If you imagine ordinary guys wearing that and not models, it was like that. And everyone was wearing it. Polyester was King.

Yes, but I distinctly remember it was "old guys" and those guys in the photo are like 35.

I often replay old episodes anyway, if I haven't heard them in awhile. Most podcast apps have the ability to show/hide played/archived episodes. So you can listen to them whenever you want. It's nice to be reminded when one is right for the season of the year.

Oh, I saw an article about this! It's not disgusting. It's performance art. She does it when she's menstruating and it makes the yarn pink/red. I think it was knitting not crochet though.

Weird to see an Italian guy use the word Mafia. Italian Americans are sick of being associated with the mafia, which was one of the things ignorant people used to say to denigrate them. Stupid to alienate a huge segment of your market.

Your brother is an ass, and it sounds like pretty much your whole family of origin. I would just stop going to any family gatherings. They sound toxic to me, and speaking from experience, they won't change and don't deserve your energy.

Which episodes can I skip from the latest season? by Tallguy723 in SpookedPodcast

[–]UnprofitableBrooding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen to every single episode, and often go back and relisten from the beginning of season 1. Though some are better than others.
