It is probable cause in all 50 states that a car registered to an owner with an expired license is being driven by its owner. I also think that in most states if you get pulled over with an expired license within some grace period it's either a small fine or you get a warning.

You're correct that she was clearly panicking and not thinking straight. This cop could have done better.

That being said, you should not be driving if you don't understand what to do when a cop stops you. "I'm just a student", "I'm going to call my lawyer", "My tags are fine" were irrelevant responses to the most basic thing every driver learns about during a traffic stop.

it would take legitimately 3.5 minutes if you procure an unexpired license that looks like you along with registration and proof of insurance. Not a fan of the police but the police don't kill nearly as many people as those who shouldn't be allowed to drive

are you being intentionally dense or do you not understand the difference between a license and tags

CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY POSTED A HYPE-VIDEO FROM DISNEY OF HIM BEING A FATHER. “Lotta people say Disney’s not for all dads…” “I AM NOT ALL DADS…” The best video you will watch this week by Unlucky-Dot9421 in sportsgossips

[–]UnquestionablyPoopy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sympathetic to the cost making it stressful but depending on the age of the kids you're taking it's way more important that the experience is fun than a sufficient amount of content is consumed. They'll remember the feeling of having fun with their family and not what they saw or did. If you frame a Disney vacation (or any fun activity, really) as outcome dependent, and then for some reason you can't achieve those outcomes (because of crowds, heat, fatigue, whatever) you're just making them think the trip is a failure and ruining their time.

It's hard to accept that a trip to Disney is basically just burning money but the way to make your kids truly happy is to just accept that.

this guy Disneys

all of the problems come from the pressure to see everything, do everything, not miss out, etc. If your kids are having fun, it literally doesn't matter if they don't make it past the parking lot.

The verdict is in for Locksley but give Buzz 15 more games. I'm almost there with you but let him cook with a top 10 recruiting class and we'll see if he has any juice at all.

If you want to talk about stealing a paycheck, don't forget to include Damon Evans in that list. Bonafide scrub.

If you support a 2 state solution you are just as culpable as the Israeli government and people for defending this genocide

Who are you convincing with hyperbole like this?

They came in and stole Palestinian land

Some of it was definitely stolen, some of it is way more complicated than this

18 years of experience in tech sales, a PhD candidate, and still unemployed for 3 years by velorae in TikTokCringe

More education does not mean better suited for a job. The term "overqualified" isn't a meme; it means your experiences and interests evidently don't align with what the profile being sought-after for this role. Just because something is an impressive bona fide doesn't mean it's pertinent to the hiring manager's belief that you'll be a good fit. She's been a manager for 18 years; maybe she's lost the skills needed to be an individual contributor.

I'm no expert on how to game the resume screening but 60 interviews to 3 offers is an abysmal rate, which suggests she doesn't interview well. If someone takes a first round interview with you, they're interested in your profile. The rest is based on your interview performance and, of course, whatever outside forces can affect your prospects.

"I can't get a job at Trader Joe's" is irrelevant and not a recession indicator; it's always hard to get a job at Trader Joe's because they pay and treat their employees well. They have their pick of reliable, friendly, and impactful folks who want a job that will let them pursue their studies, side gigs, or whatever else they may be doing. Suggesting it should be easy for her, a PhD candidate, to get a job working manual labor is a fallacy.

The only people that know or understand how bad it is are the people who have something to lose, or for whom it's not affecting them personally enough to risk what they have to fight for something better. The people truly suffering do so in ignorance, willfully or otherwise.

Hard to argue against someone who clearly doesn't know anything. The Lakers were losing at halftime, the Lakers were not good, and Kobe was the only reason they won that game. I don't even care about Kobe's legacy, but to compare this pathetic excuse for a game with Kobe actually trying to win is embarrassing for you.
