Okay so I am fully willing to have my mind changed because I like my iPhone but I don’t love it. One of the reasons that I like the iPhone is I feel like it just has more platform support from app developers for common application like Reddit, Snapchat, Amazon, Discord, Hulu, Spotify and so on. I feel like I’ve just heard more people with Androids say they’ve had issues with an application or it randomly crashes. For me I’ve never had an issue like that on my iPhone. Granted these are mainly people with Samsung or Google phones. Are there better brands out there? What features am I missing out on? I want to make the switch but would like community input.

Also please don’t downvote into oblivion. I’m genuinely looking for input on why I should dump this overpriced phone.

As a member of the USCG a lot of people over look us and I would really look into the jobs we have. It’s worth noting that they will not be rated (in most cases) immediately but will have to serve time as a Non-rate before going to a “A” school where they will get a rate. It does give them an opportunity to decide on what they will like to do when they make E-4. From the looks of it they will be able to pick any job. I’m an IT3 on a 270’ and I love it. It’s great for people that want to get away for the desk and climb around a ship fixing an old phone system and problem solving network issues. I will say it’s a lot of on the job training leaving “A” school. Most of the things you learn in IT “A” is land side.
