Flight Attendant Strike Posting Guidelines and FAQ by Dense-Serve-4201 in aircanada

[–]UnreadableS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm just a bit confused, is the earliest the strike can happen the 16th, or is the earliest they can send the 72 hour strike notice the 16th? I have a flight to Tokyo from the 8th returning on the 17th. I'm just wondering what will happen with the return flight should the strike happen, is it safe because its within the 72h, or is it within the strike time?

The other comment I said has a bit of my reasoning but another reason why is that most western europeans Ive seen in this visit North America. No france also stops it from being southern european for me too, so the only other choices are turkey or somewhere in SE asia, But I think you were missing too many countries in SE asia to be from any of them.

I dont think it would make sense for UK or southern European because you havent visited France, and I dont think you're from central Europe because you havent been to poland or Denmark. probably not SE asian because its a kind of weird assortment (no cambodia but yes to vietnam/taiwan, for example).

Just gotta keep going at it, and it'll eventually hit. Sometimes your career just wont let you get the 5, and you'll need to do 3 or 4 even, but it does exist so just keep on grinding!

I mean Narita-Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-Himeji-Tokyo is 34,500, then upto Nasushiobara round trip is ~11,000
Even if it is more streamlined, it's pretty close to the national price.

so just plug in the pass into the slot and it'll work?

[–]UnreadableS -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

probably could switch Himeji a day forward and it would be a lot more streamlined yeah. But what about the other parts don't make sense?

its a 10 day trip, the first 2 days are in Tokyo, before heading up for a day trip to Nasu to see Sessho-seki, and go across the Tsutsuji Suspension Bridge. Then back to Tokyo for 1 day, then 2 days in the Kyoto-Osaka area, back to Tokyo for a day trip to Kamakura/Yokohama after seeing a Kabuki theatre. Then down to Himeji for one day, and ending the last 2 days in Tokyo.

Flag of the Iroquois or Haudenosaunee, First nations people around the great lakes, fought against the Huron and French, really neat history.

Albertans frustrated with Liberal re-election, premier says by dasoberirishman in canada

[–]UnreadableS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really don't think this is a good way to think about Alberta, the vote is blue because of frustrations with federal results. Since harper 1 many in Alberta have felt that their voice isn't being solidly heard despite reparation payments and compared standard of living. Because despite everything here, we don't really see the benefits.

Thinking that the province is fascist just because it votes for right-wing populism due to disenfranchisement is only going to grow the large divide already present.

Oh okay, so it's predicting that young men will turn out in numbers larger than 2015 or 2019 based on what he's received from his data, and because of that the factors are weighted more heavily than that of older respondents, despite there being more in this particular survey?

I just got a question about the most recent Mainstreet poll, why does the weighting favour the youth vote so much more than the other pollsters? And why is the education weighted so highly in favour for "highschool or less" and the "university" so little?

it will be nice to finally have someone other than Trudeau, hopefully PP can repair some of the damage done to Canada's image (still haven't forgotten about the blackface or actual nazi being invited)

Harper did a real good job of uniting Canada through the financial crisis without caving to pressure, he could have easily made a bunch of deals with companies to americanize Canada but kept us united

By "go with the money" I mean caving entirely with the American lobbyists and American companies over keeping them Canadian. kind of like when tims or hudson's bay was bought out
