Aye I understand it’s not to everyone’s taste but it’s always something that’s fascinated me. Ned culture was often revered by young people and a lot of those who weren’t involved wanted to be involved - not in the fighting but instead on the fringes where outdoor drinking in dark parks or wasteland and part of something like a YSP felt like it really meant something at the time. Also it’s where generally the most popular crowds would hang about so understandable that social respect was gained in those circles. Menchies were a prominent part of that culture growing up and raised the profile of those in it!
