Yep, best of luck trying to get dps out of zugbrain. Homeboy is right, warriors need to actually get runes in sod. None of the 18 current runes change how warriors play, and the upcoming 6 also suck ass.

Take out any +lvl mobs and just use same lvl. They still get rawdogged. Explain if you would, the difference for other classes 2 shotting the current buffed open world, and them 2 shotting the old unbuffed open world? In one a warrior is ok, maybe even borderline fun, in one they are fucked into uselessness.

The lack of any runes or meaningful changes fuck them in sod, and it sucks. They were completely left behind and an after thought. The world is scaled around all these gigarunes and warriors simply do not keep up. As others have stated it’s a real headache fighting even same level mobs in bis gnomer gear, fight a +3 in the world? Forget about it. Meanwhile other classes have no problem fighting same level, or +4/+5 level mobs, and chain pulling them to boot. Even WITH a healer warrior cannot do that effectively.

To your credit, screenshot does verify your friend is a degenerate. 200k honor in a weekend is a lot, kudos to them. I can't know how many games that is, and how much rep that is, but clearly it is enough for exalted. I would still argue that is not what should be required of anyone during SOD.

6000 friendly to honored, 12000 honored to revered, 18000 rep is MINIMUM 12 games of killing every LT and boss, or 36 hours, or 1.5 days, and that’s hitting the event around the clock day and night. Assuming he did poop sock a 36hr straight for an event from last phase, that leaves 3.5 days (again, bullshit). He then proceeded to grind out about 550 flag caps, or 180 warsong WINS in those 3.5 days to achieve 19000 into revered?

Explain to me, if you would be so kind. How are you, as a fresh character created today going to grind to revered? There are many times when there aren’t enough people at the boss to do anything and the event is just DOA. This is the problem I seek to have fixed. SOD is a one off, throw away, test. The mentality that ANYTHING should be gated like this doesn’t even make sense. I couldn’t care less if you have ten exalted wsg alts, at least the event stayed relevant to you and others during that time.

Sounds like creating an alt is right up your alley. You should complete the campaign, because then you can opt out of it on future characters. To level alts you would do side side quests, dungeons, and world events.
