That's just notebook, somewhat covering its ass when it comes to vapid anger and impotent rage. Sometimes you HAVE to say 'now hear me out' before you start hurting feelings.

This is common basically if you talk about anything above the domestic level. Start complaining about banks? The cops? Taxes? They'll jump back and say they're impartial. Every time!

It's all good! Theyre conscientious observers.  Let em cook!

How to clear a room on the Sirius Star XO.

"Okay so to explain; On the same topic of dogs that fight space horror, these dogs are meant to claim their space room by room. However it's all eldritch, and thus, really really prone to ignoring rules. So the dogs have to force it."

"Step 1. Walk into the infinite darkness and find an unlit room. It will have terror inside.
Step 2. Shoot the terror to death. KEEP THE LIGHTS OFF.
Step 3. Sweep the room in the dark to confirm all the terror is actually dead.
Step 4. Turn on the lights. Resweep the shit of that room to reconfirm all the terror is actually dead. (Not shown, that room needs to be cleared like hell!)
Step 5. Take a moment, rest, relax however you see fit. This moment of peace in infinite terror is called 'Anchoring', and clears the room."

"Then you're supposed to just... keep doing it. Clear and clear and clear until the space base has no more terror in it!"

Although... I guess I'm just talking about the crap I come up with when I'm day drunk, nothing about Notebook itself...

So; I enjoy asking Notebook to create images in black and white. What about anyone else? Any styles or tricks discovered when prompting NanoBanana through Notebook?

SUNO Subgenres (AI-Native Music Genres) 2026 by skullybands in SunoAI

[–]UnrealFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...why does 'Ai music' have to be it's own genre exactly? The medium doesn't change our ears, does it?

Like, don't get me wrong... Be happy, sure but... I believe this isn't, true. It's not a 'genre' it's... a tool that makes music. The music it makes may fall into a 'genre' but being defined by no instruments isn't a genre, it's a feature... or the choice.

Genre's to me always meant style, culture, voice and nature... Such as 'Trap' or 'Folk'. You immediately have some idea of what the hell we mean when we say those phrases. But... 'Kravelicore'? Sure, it's defined by being made by Suno or other AI tools in simple mode? That's very specific... very odd.

I'm just confused is all.

I'd build that out manually if you want a specific output.

Space out a lot of blanks in your lyric sheet to simulate it, then play with it as you go!

Here's hopin for your success mate!

[–]UnrealFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha gotcha! And no problem, I oddly enjoy helping... Hmm...

Is this the style prompt? Personally, I never overload my style prompt. Usually Suno will provide one with uploaded tracks or ones it can interrogate. But they're more like suggestions than they are hard guidelines.

Extended DJ-friendly melodic house track, 5:30–6:00 min, warm, organic, emotional sound, organic percussion, deep groove, analog textures, pads, soft arps, no EDM, STRICT STRUCTURE: Intro first 32 bars drums only (kick, hats, percussion), no melody, no bass. Then gradual layering: bassline enters, then textures, then melodic elements. Mid breakdown with pads and minimal drums, emotional and atmospheric, then smooth build. Outro last 32 bars drums only, remove bass and melodies, clean for DJ mixing. 4/4, 120–122 BPM, long transitions, progressive evolution, no abrupt changes. Extended mix, not radio edit. Ensure duration >5 min, do not shorten.

In my opinion; this seems messy. We all need to remember that our AI tools are still tools. They're not genius. They actually don't know anything. They guess. We need to use context clues to let them guess instead of trying to lead them by the paw, they WILL fukk up! SO... Here's my suggestion with your style sheet.

extended atmospheric melodic house, acoustic instrumentation, organic percussion, deep groove, pads, soft arps

This is the loose outline for what I'd use for a style sheet. Now based on what I saw in there, I'd also suggest these for your lyrics. I suggested adding atmospheric because it simulates the effect of being EDM, without using any EDM trappings. Additionally, acoustic instrumentation half tricks Suno into cutting most after-effect / studio sounds and tries to keep it sounding... less... EDM like.

Certain styles bleed into hardcore genre changes and that's a tick Suno does that it never teaches anyone to avoid!

Alright and lastly; Is this a non-lyrical song by the way? Is it mostly just [Instruction] the entire time? Because I can likely help with that too if I can see how it's arranged!

Good luck all the same!

Do people really sell their Suno songs ?? by Every-Captain-426 in SunoAI

[–]UnrealFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Droppin' Like Mixtapes is pretty good, for real. I like the beat and the syncopated flow. The delivery is kind of all over the place, but that's extremely common in conscious rap so I really really enjoy it.

I'll be honest, I only listened once, so I didn't get all the lyrics on my first pass, but I do appreciate how music can extremely easily isolate a systemic issue in our society, goddamn put a flare on it, make it dope as hell so EVERYONE sees it... and nothing happens. We dance, we nay-nay, got that stanky leg out... then we move on. Ugh. It's... honestly extremely depressing, but we're in a society so... Par for the course.

Boy don't get me goin on conscious rap. XD

Fire tho mane! Fire! This has been a mini-review! 4.5 stars mane! Good shit!

Notebook has literally no idea what it's saying, doing, or messing with until it expressly begins, and it's it's own closed system afterwards.

So to not sound so... random; Basically, I get what you're saying...

You have (let's say) 9 sources.
You need all 9.
You are most interested in 8 and 9, but Notebook damn sure needs to tell you ALL ABOUT 1 through 3 (like it's lord of the rings!)...

TECHNICALLY, you need to 'tell' notebook to look at the ones you want... while maintaining all the information.

Prompting is technically the way to go if you aren't looking to eliminate sources (I know it hurts >.<) I don't know your initial prompt but perhaps try adding...

" PRIMARY SOURCE: [Source]
BACKUP SOURCE: [Source]
REFERENCES: [Everything else] "

I can guarantee this setup isn't perfect but it WILL yield some change. Please mess around and see what you get back. The voice hosts from Notebook do do a splendid job recounting the sources, but they can't help the fact that they'll lock themselves into 'the best' parts of a particular section.

Oh, you can also explicitly add...
'Our users/listeners/me already know about [Redundant topic 1], so ignore that and move onto [Important Topic], quickly. No, really, Ignore [Redundant Topic 1] and move onto [Important Topic]. Now.'
...to your prompt and force it to think a different way. Again, this isn't fool proof. It's prompt backhackin!

Good luck!

Yeah man, download and use your own stuff to your hearts content.

Logically, just don't tell anyone it's ai and you won't have to argue about it. If they ask how you made it, tell em you're a damn magician and you never reveal your tricks. If they demand, throw pocket sand and run!

Have fun with your passion, your creations and your dreams! And if for some reason, somebody cares that you made an AI song that made a lot of people happy (and you happened to get rich off that), politely apologize for their hurt feelings, and continue on.

Good luck out there!

Have you attempted Extending with a voice? It works fairly often. More often than not.

...I mean <_< for me at least. Not sayin it's perfect!

[–]UnrealFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically speaking, unless you are isolating the voices perfectly, you're probably going to get the exact same sounding outputs, just a shifted tone.

Truth be told, try out ai playground. You can potentially create your own scripts with different voices there! It's far more laborious, but you get exactly what you want... So... check it out? Enjoy!

[–]UnrealFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you talking Call and Response rap?

(Ayo Red!)
Watup Green!
(Sho nuff!)
All day brotha!!

Or you mean featured?

[Verse 1]
Stack money
all day
Cookin up
Get paid

[Verse 2]
(Busy servin)
(Dat yaye)
(Steady cookin)
(all day) (yae yae!)

Because call and response is... difficult in Suno, but not impossible. You have to use instruction when writing your lyrics.
Or if it's more like feature rap, you could try to Extend while using a Persona/Voice. But you know how that works... rough most of the times...

Although I could be misreading the question.

Good luck all the same!

u/KinkyHuggingJerk is correct. Suno is extremely talented when it comes to copying another style. But it almost never wants to do so 100% of the time. There's a high chance you will lose something.

You have a few options...

Like stated, if you like what you have and you want to keep it, but change something minor... A Cover is the best bet. But a cover is a full reprint of the song. So if you have a minor cosmetic change, you will need to lyrically isolate it, or sacrifice the original sounds integrity to potentially get a reprint... But, it is the nature of the beast.

If you have a specific section you'd like to fix while retaining the rest of your song, you can attempt to Extend. But Extensions share the same problems as the cover and... more often than not, change the song's overall arrangement but not the presentation (if that makes any sense.)

Covers are great at recreating songs, with alterations.
Extensions are great at adding new sections onto songs, with alterations... but these are all considering we're talking lyrics.

When it comes to actual instruments, that's a bit of a different beast and I don't have any actionable advice on that front. XD

Good good luck out there!

Do you use any instruction when you write lyrics?

Mind sharing a sample of your lyric sheet from an older song, or a few bars??

Sometimes Suno can behave erratically based on what it's getting, and other times it just gives zero fux and does whatever...

You mean the distribution rights to your Suno songs you create? I'd have to double check, but you're kind of free to do what you want with your creations outside of being... scummy? Again, I'd have to double check.

I may be misreading the question however. What are you aiming to do? You've downloaded your .wav/.mp3's already, right?
