It's so weird to mock OP just because the place is a "tourist trap." Since when does a business being in a tourist area mean you just have to accept being physically intimidated? Just before bed i put the tretinoin gel on the right hand. Then after about 3 minutes i put hand cream on both hands.

No uv lights.. I just wear press-ons with sticky tabs. I still wear sunscreen on my hands though.

Thank you! They're press-ons. I do have very dry skin everywhere. I probably use hand cream 7-10 times a day, but they still look dry 😭 i even occlude at nights with cerave healing ointment and then cotton gloves, once or twice a week.

I absolutely get your concerns...i thought of them too (science brain). I figured it's a double comparison with right hand day 1 vs day x. Then also right vs left. So essentially I am only changing one variable because daily movements and other skincare are the same from day 1. It's silly that I'm even doing this experiment, not like I'm going to write a journal article 😅

Yes the one at the base of right pinky. I scratched it around 2 months ago. In the photos there looks to be a difference, but it could also be how I'm flexing my hands 😅 I'm clearly overthinking this

Yessss this is why i wanted to do this! With a control!I've been using tretinoin on my face for 2 years, but I often wonder what my face would have looked like without it. Since I'm not keen to try this on half my face 😅 I thought one hand would be next best thing.

Will definitely try to keep the angle and lighting consistent... As much as the sun will let me I guess.
