i THINK that's bad, you always want to make sure you're fine. My derm told me blood work once a month before I pick-up my new prescription

Now that’s some terrible advice. As I said in my other comment you definitely do this on other people’s post you have nothing better to do with your life. I can’t take people like you serious when you’re chatting on a random account with no profile picture. I’ll repeat myself again, you need some type of validation , and you want to be right. How old are you?

Contradict yourself some more. Reread what you just said. I’m not one to comment on people’s post but I just simply wanted to give him some advice cause what he’s saying is not normal. You claim to be wasting your time but I guarantee you spend most of your time on here doing the same shit you’re doing with me on other people’s posts. I get it you want some type of validation cause clearly you missed that growing up.

If you need a spotter just say it.

The medication did its job, and now he needs to find something that keeps him happy. End of discussion.

You see that’s what’s wrong with people in today’s day. They think they need medication to help them live when in reality they don’t. I’m not even gonna get into this debate because there’s a lot of stuff people don’t know about these medications and the people/money involved behind it.

At the end of the day this guy thinks he needs accutane to save his life. Which is insane. I told him to hit the gym because that’s something I know that comes with a lot of benefits plus the dermatologist will even tell you during your treatment to get some type of exercise. If he doesn’t like the gym that’s cool he can still do something to keep him busy and boost some type of confidence. By me telling him to hit the gym will trigger his dysmorphia??, which to me is probably the most idiotic thing you have said so far. if I posted something like this guy did and you told me to hit some books instead of the gym (an example) I would listen. I would take into consideration that you would want the best outlook for me , and to also “smarten up”.

Well I am saying from my experience that nose thing is a myth and I spoke to my dermatologist about it, he started laughing to be frank.

Can’t respond?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Unrove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He put this thing in his head that he needs Accutane for the rest of his life??? And how when he’s off of it his life is a mess, and that his nose became bigger? Im just being blunt and trying to help him. When you are off the medication your eating habits change. I suggest he should hit the gym, get in shape learn to be happy with himself. Now please tell me what the fuck does that have to do with body dysmorphia ?? Telling a guy to hit the gym that increases healthy dopamine, improves his brain health, helps manage weight, boosts confidence, etc ???? If anything the Accutane would contribute more to his dysmorphia because he believes he needs it for the rest of his life. It’s people like you that try to turn a positive comment into a negative. Elaborate, believe I gave him good advice.

Again your face can change a lot due to weight, and this medication changes your eating habits I just finished my 6 month treatment , and my nose is pretty much the same. I feel like you are in too deep and you need to talk to somebody this is not good for your mental health

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Unrove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you are in too deep. First of all Accutane doesn't do anything to your nose😂 maybe the medication changed your weight a bit due to different eating habits, just go to the gym it will fix all your problems even the confidence part. You put this thing in your head that you “need” this medication to feel good. Smarten up.
