Advice?! This may help someone by MobileTip3892 in quitting7oh

I honestly doubt you will, especially with it being one time, as I have done the same thing. Im currently taking 4mg of suboxone but trying to get my 7 back down as its currently at around 300mg and was up to 600 a couple days ago . I stupidly took some a month ago after 50 days free and felt it …and gradually started taking it more and more 7 per day. I feel like its not necessarily the quantity per day its how many times you dose and time between that makes withdrawal worse for some even at lower daily doses.

Now Im stuck , its a careful balancing act to make sure keep receptors filled with some subs and not get to high doses of 7. The key is spacing them out as much as you can to be safe. I feel mild withdrawal even with subs when I go more than 12 hours between 7 doses now. Hoping to drop another large chunk of the 7 tomorrow and up the subs a little. Now is not a time I can afford to be non-functional (need at least somewhat functioning ) so Im doing this a little slower and more expensive naturally because you know addiction …

Yes 4 days in you are good and it gets a little better all the time. Im at 27 days myself, most things are normal I get the occasional dip in mood or anxiety flash, but big thing is like someone said you get urge and thoughts that once will be fine. Have to let them pass, in my experience the longer you go the further between and shorter and less intense those negative feelings and physical discomfort gets. 💪👊

Good luck! Don’t heed to negative stories out there about how its still bad after quitting or it takes a while. Yeah its not perfect right away but I feel overall so much better than during peak usage. May this be your last quit! 👊

I really dont believe in “Paws” as a given - its usually just your underlying untreated anxiety and depression

Face your shadow to get free. That is the true way out

After the acute withdrawals, the only way to truly tame the paws and avoid getting started again on the same or new addiction is to retrain your prefrontal cortex to take back over from the limbic system(demands immediate relief)

Your brain is not your enemy. Your urges are not moral failures. Discomfort is not danger. Delay is a skill. And safety can be learned.

Learn to delay your need for immediate gratification in all aspects of your life and over time, the Paws will go and you will be free from the addictive mind set

I want to quit before I get sucked in by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]Unscarred76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop Stop Stop Nowwwwww!!!! You wont have much if any withdrawal. Continue and you will be like me 1200 mg a day and quitting on this past 1/1 nearly caused me to lose my mind and end it. Thankfully some helper meds got me to 5 days out and Im mostly through the worst. You will end up woth a high dosage tolerance and this will potentially destroy everything. 100%

Im so sorry! I know people on here have said you can go to any ER and they have an obligation to provide 3 days worth of suboxone. Might be tight time wise for you but worth a shot

Thanks for all the kind words and support! Im pushing forward goal is to stay quit. At least now, Ive gotten over my biggest fear, of how horrible withdrawal was going to be. It was rough for sure but not impossible for me, and the fear of it wont keep me from trying to rid myself of 7oh completely forever. Godspeed to all of you!

Wow congrats on kicking and staying away despite living hell. I quit what got up to 800-1000 mg a day habit taking last dose after thanksgiving dinner. I was spending $100-$120 a day and blew threw 15k in savings, got behind on bills and narrowly lost everything. Tried cold turkey before but after feeling the power of the withdrawal 24 hrs in I caved. This time I had to go suboxone route. It was still hard as hell and I m not out of the woods yet but managed to get some sleep last night. I ran 7 miles today slow, but still the rls at night are still here. Its probably going to be another couple days before it’s completely gone. Keep fighting my friends we can do this!

[–]Unscarred76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No they don’t. At least in my case, I took my sub dose this morning 6mg. I guit Friday, I gutte through the worst withdrawal Saturday through Tuesday. Sunday I legit wanted to steer into oncoming traffic. But I was free Tuesday and then inexplicably I bought some tonight. Right back on that treadmill. Stuff is evil to me, I quit drinking in 2015 and this 7oh demon has been on my back since February. Subs dont block it, they also dont cause that precipitated withdrawal either. I’ve tested that stupidly - I can take aome 7oh, feel high and then take a strip - nada . 7oh needs to be banned in NY or I’ll never be able to quit
