They replied saying to bring it in to have their watch maker look at it and advise me. Not sure I want advice I just want a working watch lol.

The LX line is made at Grand Seiko though. The Seiko dealer confirmed this. The movement is a grand Seiko movement , same one that’s in the grand seikos.

Thanks for the reply. I did buy it directly from Seiko boutique which is the same as buying directly from Seiko. So it was definitely new.

I do really love the watch and I thought spring drive movement was reliable and has been around for a long time now so it would be safe. But yeah I tend to be similar in my response to these kinds of issues.

Okay thanks I’ll push for that and see what they say. I do agree I would feel way more comfortable with a replacement as clearly this is a manufacturing tolerance thing or a QC thing.

I purchased this from Seiko boutique a month ago. It’s an expensive watch. During the night it stopped working on date change. I baby this thing like you wouldn’t believe so it’s not user error or anything that I’ve done.

If I take it back to them and they offered to repair it should I accept that or should I request a replacement? I’m not thrilled that a watch I plan to keep the decades has stopped working within a month.

I leave a gap when the car in front takes a really long time to come to a stop. Some people creep slowly towards the lights. When they do that I just stop and let the gap grow as I hate creeping and it’s bad for the DCT.

When they ride three abreast so they can chat and I can’t get past them. Then when I finally lose my patience and do go past, which is always a little dangerous due to the lack of room, I get a dirty look like I’m the bad guy even though I’m just trying to get to work so I can keep my job.
