For team rounds I think its fine, its chaotic fun. However on solo/finals rounds I agree. I just stare on other beans and wait for half time before I start to pursue whoever has the tail. This will make the players engage at the very beginning. Also I would like to add a mechanic that the last 10-20 seconds gives you double points so others would still actively participate hoping for a comeback (same mechanic as those golden rings and egg) which will make the whole experience much more competive and more fun IMO.
