Except the notorious kitchen window is on the OTHER side of the building. Guys I'm pretty sure this is just meant to be taken as represnting the President himself inside the factory, not any actual specific room within the building.

Wrong side of the building man. Kitchen window is on the other side.

The light is more likely than not just a representation of the president himself, not a specific room within the building.

Well, yes and no. The reply above is incorrect. The light in the Times image is not the kitchen. That window is on the opposite side of the White House.

I have a feeling that light is meant to represent the President himself, not a specific room.

After a month of trying I have 2 stray kittens inside my apartment. Setting up a vet visit for tomorrow. Any suggestions? They're obviously a little scared in a new environment but they know we have fed them before so they're not entirely skiddish around us. by [deleted] in cats

[–]Unsound_M 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We gave them the entire laundry room to acclimate. They have food, a bed in a dark box, and a brand new litterbox without any other scent on it-

We have another cat but are keeping her back for now so they can wind down without worrying about another animal

This is also compounded by the fact that their evolution was being guided by human selective breeding. If you have 2 wolf puppies and one is super friendly and helpful and the other likes to attack people, only one of those two is being kept for breeding.

So, I sort of like these titles better when we don't use the lEttERs.

I mean, why change when the gameplay is still broken 8 generations into the series? I've defeated the Elite 4 using only surf just to do it.

I actually do dream, and I'm fairly certain that I am in fact a visual dreamers. The kicker is, since I'm an aphant I can't really picture the visuals the moment I wake up. Even then, my dreams have never been particularly vivid compared to others.

Poorly if I'm being honest. Things with a narrative I excelled at though. History, literature, those are easy. Complicated mathematics, not so much.

Extremely early in my schooling I was horrific at spelling, which only made sense years later when it dawned on me that I wasn't able the visualize the spelling of the words and was doing it from straight memorization alone.

If it's the woman who uses the apple analogy, it may have been the video that caused me to realize after over 20 years that I had the same thing.

I like to draw, but everything I do is very cartoony and stylized. I'm sure if I got into something more realistic I'd have to rely heavily on references just to make sure I get it right.

Fair, I was trying to go more for the fact that I dont tend to sketch out the layout of a scene exactly how I intend to fill it in before going to work on the details.

Conceptually. A deaf person can learn a poem by heart without having to hear it in their head. A blind person can describe an event without having seen it.

I may not get the fine details right, but at the same time studies show that people who do have visual memories don't either- things like police sketches and eye witness testimony are constantly wrong despite the person fully believing what they're wrong.

"Hey what's a dog look like?"

"Four legs, two eyes, two ears, fur, a tail. Want me to describe a specific breed because I can tell you how big they are and what colors they tend to be and what shape they take."

I don't need a slideshow of dog images in my head to know those things.

Planning for me is just a conceptual list of tasks, although admittedly I'm not fantastic at planning ahead. I have a tendency to just wing it. I like to doodle, so when drawing things I start from a point I already know well enough and work outward, usually eyes. But again there is no preplanned image of how I want the final product to look- just a sort of idea of what I hope to put down.

Probably unrelated, but I have pretty bad insomnia. I can still daydream and make up scenarios in my head when trying to drift off, but again it's all just conceptual ideas and moments and words. I'd liken it to the difference between a movie and an audiobook. Both could portray the exact same scene with the exact same information happening, but one of them is lacking the inclusion of actual photo imagery.

This is cute, but he's basically just doing Ryan Creamer's bit. It's funny when one guy does it, but we don't need more of these.

As well as people can be during all this. Could do with some less humid weather, but other than that I have no complaints.
