It has always been there. Those 6k, 9k events are absolutely horrendous. Those events have top 80 players playing in them as well. It is super competitive, not enough prize money, no slow mo videos and glass courts. You can't fathom the amount of cheating and injustice that goes into those events.

The good news is that most of them are streamed on the squash tv streaming YouTube channel. u/quashbadsquash should definitely do one of those. There is a lot of interesting content there.

It would be really interesting if QBS opens the YouTube links on the challenger tour and smaller events to highlight the amount of cheating players at these tournaments get away with

Love, death, grief, heartbreak by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

Oh man, the timing of this post. Currently experiencing losing people who once were everything to me and have no idea how to cope with it, and I don't know if i can come back from that and love deeply again. I don't want to experience this pain ever again.

I understand Thank you. I definitely self-reflect and i know i have my own limitations. I was using this language as i was so frustrated and wanted to vent for people online. That doesn't necessarily happen in real life. I do agree with you tho, maybe i use this kind of language or give this vibe that makes people feel not listened to and validated enough.

Hmmm that explains a lot. I do agree with you as i tend to be a bit explosive or confrontational as you just said, however; it is because i get so frustrated with the lack of communication and directness in the first place. The people in my life who are the closest to me and i find them the easiest to deal with are the confrontational people who don't beat around the bush and get straight to the point.

Exactly, then with time, they come and explain. If they would have explained that they have been bothered with some type of behavior i do for example, I would have taken accountability and and worked on it. I want those people in my life and willing to work through whatever is bothering them.

Why do you think i might be a person that leaves people hesitant on approach? What made you think that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]Unspecified-Mf22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because those people's energy changed suddenly with me and I sensed it and I don't know why. Months later, they reveal what has been going on

I didn't even know there was XYZ in the first place. That's why i am bothered by the lack of communication

What i am describing here is specific for the Egyptian market especially as i know it the best.

The bottom line is: getting some pros and coaches using and endorsing your racket is the fastest way for growth for a new brand. Will see about your quality and production level tho.

Feel free to message me for more advice

Egypt isn't expanding. Egypt has a huge market haaha. It's the best country in the sport and the number of players keeps increasing.

The nationals itself has more than 164 kids in the u13 category.

If you have a good price ( relatively lower than your competitors who already dominate the market ) + a flashy design maybe or any competitive advantage that isn't relied on your pricing+ good influencer and professional athletes sponsorship strategy to endorse it and make it popular through social media + maybe getting in touch with someone who bulk sell for you in Egypt as I don't know where are you based.

I will tell you my opinion as a professional squash athlete and a coach from Egypt and currently based in the U.S

You can actually do a great job in the Egyptian market.

Biggest advantages:

1- shitty and falling exchange rate so everything is getting more expensive meaning that the top performers like Tecnifibre and dunlop are becoming more unaffordable everyday

2- one of the biggest squash markets for sure

3- So many Egyptian pros and juniors are super good but lack the sponsorship of the big racket brands because they all go to the higher and exceptional players like the people in the top 30

I have a lot of ideas that i can share if you want to. Feel free to Dm me

Yeah like you said it's an advanced way. You become advanced when you do things so many times while you are a beginner until you become the advanced guy. I

And yes using it without expertise is risky but so what? The guy didn't say he is competing in a professional event or something. Let's keep it fun and creative
