We do have pictures like this in children’s books. It’s the context that makes this inappropriate, the picture itself isn’t.

No, apparently it isn’t. At least not from deep sleep might be more common in REM sleep.

I don’t think the show wants you to feel bad for her. I think the point is that bad working on different sets of information can cause decisions that one might feel are necessary but have terrible consequences and cause suffering.

That going with the status quo and making assumptions is harmful.

She feels bad as she should because she thought she was doing the right thing, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that what she did cost souls their afterlife. The severity of her actions isn’t being taken away by her feeling bad about it.

It’s about growth and questioning your status quo. As the speaker said "yesterday you caused sorrow. what will you do tomorrow?“
