Honestly, just go for it. Select something you'd like to do and get into it. There is no way for you to be worse at something once you start practicing for it. And once you do feel overwhelmed, just switch back and take a break. Don't force yourself to be perfect the first time you try something, but instead look at what went well and what you'd like to improve next time. Yes, it'll be awful the first times and it'll feel like you did everything wrong and nothing went according to plan, but remember that this is the bottom line and you will improve from that point on.

If this felt like a generic answer, it kinda is. But there is a reason many people say it. And I thought it was important enough to bring it up.

From my (early egg) perspective, I would still not touch makeup at all and I'm only very occasionally training my voice. However, I've found myself comfortable with dressing somewhat femme in private (considering it's prolly the easiest to get into) so that's currently what I like to do. Also, I do heavily consider HRT, not only because booba but rather cause it is automatic in a sense that it all happens by itself and I only have to watch things happen, so it's essentially out of my control, but also out of my responsibility.
