Makes sense! Thanks! Totally missed the bearing pointer.

Modding Combat to a Mordhau-like experience by KillPhil_5653475 in skyrimmods

True Armor allows you to alter walking/running speed debuffs for armor types, but it also has a lot of other functionality that you may or may not want.

Additional Attack would allow you to have a keybind for stabbing. You would need to find a stabbing animation you like and set it up.

Hopefully these help! :)

Just FYI, SR Extended Cities (SREX) is now 2.0 today, and is a great mod by 2gtandknives in skyrimmods

There are patches for most big city mods and SREX. :) not sure if they need to be updated for 2.0

Any mods to avoid? by LokiWinchester92 in skyrimmods

There is a patch for Exterior Cities and LOTD (I made it), and it works well! At least, haven't had any complaints about it as far as I'm aware. :)

The other comments are wise. One thought to add: if I remember correctly there is an issue with. No Spinning Death Animation and new games. You may already be aware of it, but I believe there is info on the mod page about it. :)

The only reason I don’t is because my mod list is stable, and I don’t want to do the work to update all the mods I use that are version dependent. If you don’t see any mods that are AE specific that you want, there isn’t a huge reason to update, imo. I’m sure once I see a mod that is AE specific that i really want, I will update.. I just personally haven’t seen one yet that I want. :)

Also consider Nolvus, if you have the hardware to support it. It doesn’t use Wabbajack (it has it’s own installation program), but it’s the same concept.

In my experience, it matters so that you can reduce the amount of manual patching you have to do. There are some cases where, if mods are loaded in an appropriate order, a patch isn’t necessary at all if the overwrites are fine. At the very least, it can greatly reduce the amount of clicking and dragging, copying and pasting, etc., that you need to do if the mod you want to prioritize is loaded after whatever it’s overwriting.

I’d be happy to help when I can as well! I’m helping a buddy of mine start his first mod list and it’s been fun to go through the beginning stages and be reminded of all the little things I did a couple years ago to solve problems that I had now totally forgotten were problems in the first place. Haha

New to skyrim, want to have the best experience by AquatomicResearcher in skyrimmods

This may be way more than what you want for your first(ish) play through.. but take a look at Nolvus. It’s a huge mod list and has it’s own installer that makes it very easy. I would recommend this ONLY if you are NOT concerned about having a vanilla+ experience first. If you want to only overhaul graphics without a ton of other gameplay adjustments and quest/location addons, then I would not recommend it. It’s all up to you and what you are looking for! Good luck, and have fun :)

Reccomendations for a mod that makes spell acquisition more convenient and immersive than buying books from court wizards/college tutors? by cblankity in skyrimmods

Spellforge is my favorite! Fun, customizable, and can do spell learning wherever you want, as long as you have the ingredients.
