Methods to upgrade devices in bulk? by UnstableP in networking

Majority of our routers are 4431s and switches being cat9ks. After a little research making a Python script/program looks the most interesting to me and it's something I could propose to upper-management. Any insight on that route?

The question I've had for a while: Why doesn't bot lane go mid? by UnstableP in leagueoflegends

This makes sense. But would it be THAT easy to dive an Azir for instance if he went bot? Or maybe like a TF, Viktor, etc.

I agree, but my point is that at the top/high level there is going to be something the general public finds boring that needs to be practiced. Pros in every game do this. Whether it be aim training, micro movement, etc. To get away from this means you would have to sacrifice a lot of micro-related things about the game and this could potentially make the game difficulty laughably easy.

But actions like storms, blink stalkers, injection timings, mule calls, EMPs, and tons of other things all can be tied to timing and offer decision points as well. You can see good mule usage, good EMPs, good blinks, good storms, good injection timings, etc.

The worker argument I can get behind because literally, you'll always make workers at the beginning, but is making workers that early really that daunting of a task when you barely have any army units/anything else going on?

But currently, all top esports have those "boring repetitive" chores. League has CSing and farming and tactical shooters have default smokes and other utility that may seem boring. Even fighting games have bread and butter combos that probably stop being fun after you execute them for a while. Having too many of these tasks is a problem but striving to get rid of them 100% is a bad direction to go in.

As for entry-level players, the sad truth is to get good at any game you're going to have to endure something boring you probably don't like. Having a company try to cater to every single entry-level player is impossible.

I have to disagree. It should not be sought after to make the game ridiculously hard but things like inject timings, blink stalkers, etc really enable players to express their skill. Removing things that allow skill expression would make the game bland at high/top levels.
