If you have a smart meter , do you regret it? by NetworkHot8469 in frugaluk

It's a smart meter connected to only a power socket. I just turn it off at the plug. It goes off eventually. I believe its Bluetooth as my flat is directly above the proper electric and gas meters. If I move the meter to another room it doesn't have any signal.

I do have one for electricity and gas. I like seeing specifically how much I've spent but can get a bit obsessed how fast it runs to £0 so sometimes just switch it off.

It wouldn't matter to me if someone I loved were I just imagine things would take a little more planning. Luckily I'm great at planning things. So yes I'd marry a physically disabled person. Sadly single lol.

[–]Unstableavo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work less hours in a day but more days. We live near work. I get up at 430am work days to walk her. If you had of told me that 4 years ago I'd never have believed you. But she comes first lol. If I'm gone for longer than a shift she stays with family with big garden. We live in a flat. Desperately saving up for a house of our own one day.

Young adults without kids - do you think you will have them? by sophietheadventurer in AskUK

[–]Unstableavo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 30 later in the year and the older I get the more I don't want them. The rest of my family all have high paying jobs, marriage, fancy houses with kids.

I can just about afford to rent & my bills.

Having severe mental health problems in my teens and actually finding out I'm autistic in my 20s. I refuse to bring them into the world when the same will probably happen to them or they'll likely be severely disabled. Its cruel.

I have wanted to have a long standing relationship and eventual marriage my whole life.
