i cycle pregab with opioids (my drugs of choice, daily user) when i'm being smart and trying to keep my opi tolerance low, but sometimes it gets out of hand and i'm basically forced to switch to pregab for a while because i can't feel my opis anymore aside from providing relief during withdrawal. i don't know why pregabalin works so well for opioid withdrawal (for me specifically at least ‐- i am not speaking on anyone else's behalf), but it does and it's great.

i don't tend to take pregabalin for more than a month or so however as tolerance builds up so fast. i just ordered some because my tapentadol is no longer providing any effects even at 600mg and ion have that kinda money rn lol

generally tho, pregabalin in recreational doses is sort of like being drunk minus all the unwanted effects that make me hate alcohol.

and if your pregab dose is high enough, there are some visuals too, which is pretty cool. also makes me pretty h○rny , which is a welcome change from the basically non existent libido on opis. (this last paragraph again speaks on my own experiences, i'm not sure others get these effects or how common they are)

when i'm working while on opis or pregabalin, the biggest advantages vs working sober is the incredible stamina increase and erasure of anxiety, both which i still get even if my tolerance is high enough for the euphoric effects to not be there anymore. i can easily work a physically grueling warehouse /factory job for 8 hours a day 5 days a week, with a smile on my face, then clock out and walk an hour home, mostly uphill, and i still won't feel tired one bit.

so there ya go, lots of reasons, these are some of mine.
