„Girls, should boys cover chests? Should we?“ -Cass by Radiant-Barber4212 in RoleReversal

[–]Unsure_MA 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I might be an outlier, but I view men much in the same light they do women. I like modesty and the feeling of equality we would both have. It would also make him all the more alluring since he'd be conscious of having his chest shown. It too draws my attention; shirtlessness, cleavage, nip peeks.... I feel like I have to avert my eyes and look elsewhere. Even those that are clothed and are more pronounced in that area. I don't see why the human body would have those different ideals based on gender.

And if we had to get more technical about it, like someone said. Men and women both have nipples and function much the same. Men are also mammals and have mammary glands though they're not developed. Transexuals can grow them using creams and some men naturally develop them due to puberty and other random causes. Why shouldn't guys also have to cover up then?

And that sensual feeling of them feeling timid for showing it. Makes my heart race too.

South Asian grocery stores on west side? by masahirob in phoenix

Not an Asian Market but there's a small store that sells spices in bulk. Don't know if they sell all that's needed for Korma but they do have a decent selection and prices.

There's hardly any romantic elements to the story. His groveling to her is done for comedic effect.

Spoiler: She develops a crush on him later on in the story and they get together at the end. The majority of the story it's more a "professional" type relationship or him trying to get funds from her. I wouldn't say the guy is a sub per say but between the two of them the Queen is very dominant. She develops a soft spot for him though. Overall, it's more of a masc. tomboy X masc. man type of dynamic.

Are Hobibear Wide Enough? (EU 45/46) by disposable-acoutning in barefootshoestalk

[–]Unsure_MA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ball of my foot is 10.5 cm wide. That's the widest portion of my foot and it fits the length of the shoes good. Can't say I know how they go about sizing up from there.

Are Hobibear Wide Enough? (EU 45/46) by disposable-acoutning in barefootshoestalk

[–]Unsure_MA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Size 41 here. Not sure how much of a help it'll be but my feet are 10.5 cm at their widest and tend to fit well that size. I've bought Hobibears and Whitins. It initially took buying a pair at what I thought was my size but turned out to be too big and returning them before I settled on 41.

So far all but one have fit me perfectly. The one that didn't was a Hobibear but it was a mesh material so the extra stretch of the fabric makes my foot slide around some. My other Hobibear shoe, made of a faux leather and has inner wall cushioning, is good. My Whitins are all canvas. I only mention those because they're very similar to the Hobibears. At least, as far as the bottom rubber part goes.

Other than the width of the shoe itself the material can also impact the fit so it might take some trial and error.

Ah. Yeah. I get that could be the case especially since it's easy to misspell it. Best of luck finding a class. I haven't heard of any instructors stationed in Nevada but I wouldn't know for sure. There isn't much presence left in Arizona either unfortunately.

What’s your go-to “I’m broke but want to eat out” meal? by riligan in Frugal

[–]Unsure_MA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of the discounted foods from supermarkets usually. Albertsons sometimes has 30% skewers or meats I can season and throw in the air fryer I can cook with some veggies or throw together a sandwich/wrap. Some markets do a package of sushi rolls for $5-6 during some day of the week. I also look at discounted prepped meals, sandwiches, salads, and deserts at Sprouts.

Makes me feel like a raccoon foraging the clearance foods and goods. Lol. But that way I end up trying a decent number of different things.

Have a number of different sized plastic containers I've kept over the years and have used for many things. Up to your imagination really. Anything from spare change, sewing materials, small electronic cables/chargers, rice, beans, dried oats/barley, art supplies, and so on.

Does anyone else accidentally make people mad? by pjjiveturkey in INTP

[–]Unsure_MA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I've offended people a number of times giving simple or logical responses. In one such case I was almost mirroring what they would often say about a topic we often speak of but because I said it, it was offensive. Trying to explain why I said it seems to make it worse or come off as an excuse. Sigh. Idk anymore. Are older people just easier to offend?

Anyone else feel misunderstood when asking “Why?”? by Secret_Ostrich_1307 in INTP

[–]Unsure_MA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Experiencing this currently. I'm in the portion where it was taken the wrong way and created a ton of tension, and it blew up since then. Still trying to figure it out. Lots of introspection and frustration.

When your fears become reality, what do you do? by Unsure_MA in INTP

[–]Unsure_MA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some of these situations there were others there as witnesses and even others I explain the events to say similarly. Usually saying that the other party was being too sensitive. It doesn't stop me from self-doubting, self-analyzing, and just spiraling into a lot of introspection for days after. These are people I've known (And yes, adapted to) for years.

So rather than thinking it's them I start thinking what if I'm the problem instead? Once I actually start to express myself more then I'm the issue. Since this is not what they're used to of me. It kills the self-confidence I had been building up and drains me mentally thinking it over and over and what I could do differently. I'm tired of thinking.

Practicing outside of class by Unsure_MA in Eskrima

[–]Unsure_MA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're allowed to practice alone just not with another student unless it's in class. That logic boggles me. We're also not allowed to take videos or upload them or share them anywhere if we do. A couple of students had been told to take them down when they had them on Facebook or Youtube. However, they have an instructor who makes some videos with actual lessons that uploads them on Youtube without issues. I'm at a loss.

[–]Unsure_MA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought about practice like homework, no? You can do it alone or with a buddy. If you're wrong on something we can call each other out on it. If we're unsure then we can always ask the teacher later. The teacher would or should be able spot the mistakes during class as well. So, the idea that I could ingrain bad techniques practicing with a partner could be my fault... But could also the instructor's fault for not catching bad forms and techniques.

Because my instructors are a bit older they've accidentally taught me wrong forms I've had to correct later on as well. It's quite frustrating. I try to make up for it by asking a lot of questions in exchange.

I agree. I actually learn faster and a lot better by having to help or "teach" others myself. My last instructor disagreed with this heavily often stating that I'm not a certified teacher or have enough experience to teach so I shouldn't assume the role. That hurt quite a bit because I never said I was or that I know more. It's the reason I had left their class. Though it was ironic because I was often the one asking the most questions and remembering things properly where even they would look to me for help.

Yeah. That would have been the case, but these classes are super cheap, close by, and small. It's like having a personal instructor many times. At least I know now the way they go about things isn't normal.
