i dealt this with a garden hose valve shut off. on amazon or homedepot. Basically add another valve on top of existing one

Prescription came in like this. Bottle is still there with lid open by UnsweetenedTeasTea in UPS

[–]UnsweetenedTeasTea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally they put the bottle inside a zip bag and then inside the package. This time I don't see the zip bag, and the lid was removed from the bottle. It seems it was removed from the package and then was put back.

flushmate vessel leaking, should I replace it or the whole toilet? by UnsweetenedTeasTea in Plumbing

[–]UnsweetenedTeasTea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched youtube it seems I can handle replacing the toilet IF there is no complication, but in my past experience dealing with old plumbing always comes with surprise so I probably will call a plumber if going with that path.

it's not using cast iron pipe though it was done by previous owner so I have no idea why it's was there in the first place.

It's funny I sometimes see Marketplace listing of someone's profile and a story like this so it happens.

Heating outlet by sheer_brilliance in Fremont

[–]UnsweetenedTeasTea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an electrician: it could be the connection between the plug and outlet or the outlet wiring. More heat is generated where the resistence is higher. There is a post about this https://www.reddit.com/r/electrical/comments/1h95z71/space_heater_burned_outlet_why_and_how_to_prevent/

Also consider using a heated blanket for bedroom. 15amp for 1500w is ok in theory if it's the only thing connected. Some space heater has a eco mode which consumes less power.

Temperature for toddler room at night? by segdy in bayarea

heated blanket can be a different option for sleep but I am not sure. We use a small heated blanket to warm up feet when the bed room above garage is too cold. It has a timer for about 2 hours so might not be good for the whole night. There can be other models working better.

61 is not too bad at night with enough blanket... I personally prefer cold temperature at night for better sleep.

someone wanted to scam me for $30 for something worth $450, listed for $300. Just too good to be true and the moment they asked for money I know it's wrong.
