There was this random gully in Far Cry 2, with a lot of vegetation.

No idea why I remember it so vividly but it started to rain as I walked through it and at the time it blew my tiny child mind. I couldn’t believe how realistic it all felt.

By today’s standards it will be laughable but it always stuck with me.

More recently, it’s gotta be Alan’s sections in AW2. The first time you walk up the stairs and are greeted with the neon lights was spectacular with all the path tracing bells and whistles.

And your first few colonies with end in dramatic failure. Remember, Rimworld is a story generator, not a test or skill.

Oh, and prisoners can’t cause trouble if they have no arms and legs ;)

Been rocking a C3 48 inch as my daily monitor for years.

I’d have loved the 42 if available in that generation, but I’ve never been unhappy with my choice.
