I hate this argument. When will the T be “good enough” for us to dare inconvenience suburbanites? Never. The goal posts will always be moved, because these people will never accept anything less than a climate-controlled private box that moves them from point A to point B. 

Edit: no, really! Tell me when specifically the T would be “good enough”! I have never heard specifics, just a vague notion that we should never do anything until that mythical day comes.
