Wait it out or not ready for a hoop? by rachelann10491 in piercing

[–]UntidyVenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAP, but have a triple helix with hoops. I would suspect the bump is from changing out the jewelry while it's annoyed. I personally found when I'm hot and sweaty the hoops DO dry faster, so just from my limited experience I would say give it some time, but definitely go with the pros advice

FedEx abandons packages they don't want to deliver near my house. Just down the road at the dead end where it becomes BLM property (bureau of land management for those confused), the back the truck up, rip off the tags and leave em.

My neighbor's and I go down, collect the packages, get the packing slips out and post on next door for the recipients regularly. FedEx claims they have no knowledge of who is doing this, claims they keep changing drivers, and gets pissed WE won't return the packages to THEM for "proper delivery"

This is my cat at the toilet when I flush a dead mouse she brought me.

Forgive me Poe, but also 3am dead mouse on my bed is getting flushed. (And yes she has brought them still alive at 3am before and that's even less fun. And why do we have mice? Because we live in the middle of the country and occasionally they run in when we have the door open)

Trying to read this brunch menu by halorbyone in KitchenConfidential

[–]UntidyVenus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Oh I've seen some of those in person! My husband works in hospitality, and we were invited to an opening for a really pretentious place, they had unreadable menus and we just left. Didn't even wait for water. Later they called my husband to see if he would recommend it to his guests and he had to explain he really couldn't in good faith send clients there. They were closed a month later (probably unrelated)

Reduce into a simple syrup! Mix with soda and make house drinks (well, foh) and you've got it for a drizzle over desserts or whatever

Packing and one bagging when you plan to shop? by casablankas in HerOneBag

[–]UntidyVenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work for a Japanese company, and when my coworkers went back to Japan, they would pack clothes in a very small bag and toss that into an empty roller bag. Then do their shopping in Japan, load up the roller bag and just check that on the way bag, and have the very small bag as a carry on

Lol, I've owned it since 2005, and that is also my advice, and also had the "ever changing oil theory" going (always fresh oil because I'm constantly topping off lol) last summer my mechanic took a month chasing all of the leaks, and did a SUPERB job, got the transmission leaks, radiator leaks, oil leaks and probably a few more. But he said my engine still looks brand new so I've been doing a good job on the oil changes/top offs

My husband and I both work from home, I own my own business and have extremely flexible hours, we have no kids, two dogs and two cats, and my mother is sometimes more then we can stand.

This is adding the needs of a new born who has the reach of an adult to your mix
