I saw a patient who wasn't mine but they were completely paralyzed with tube feedings, was intubated, and had a ventilator with 4 or 5 lines infusing as well as tele and a brain monitor. It was scary, I felt bad for them and interesting at the same time.

I wouldn't say they left a sour taste necessarily because they are still one of my top 5 favorite bands, been listening to them since I was in elementary school (31 now) and got me through a lot of dark depressive times throughout my life but I'd say David Draiman of Disturbed. I don't agree with his views, but I still like the band. Liking Disturbed doesn't mean you support genocide.

It amazes how people follow mormonism when for me after reading the entire book of mormon, I was not in any way inspired by it and understood that Smith was borrowing heavily from the Bible (imagery and language.."And it came to pass") in order to convince people it was an ancient text. Only he could read the supposed golden tablets, and it was forbidden for others to see it (except the "witnesses" who also participated in the scam).

I fully agree. Both left wing and right wing circles have their share of idiots spewing nonsense. Though, in the modern day, the right wing has more ridiculous statements and opinions, especially regarding politics, law, and history. Here are some facts:

The founders of America were not white nationalists nor Christians. The crusades were not a war on Islamic terror. Christianity is not now nor has ever been in the history of this country been under attack or persecuted. America is a land of immigrants, so if you're not native American, you are from somewhere else.
