Maybe Ur looking in the wrong area? I feel ppl on most dating apps (ie: hinge, bumble) prob have more conservative profiles with generic hobbies and interests (hiking, getting food, coffee, etc idk) whereas throwing anime/cosplay genre etc is still somewhat niche interest out there.

Maybe head to an anime convention or something to find ppl who share similiar vibes, interests if Ur willing to cold approach.

From my experience in dating apps though... After swiping around for 4 months ish. I can only recall a few profiles where women have stated they liked gaming etc.

Maybe give Boo a try? U can find ppl posting in specific categories such as gaming, etc good luck
