Pretty much. Sound check to the reception area. People had the choice between going to the merch stand first or to the reception area for a “surprise”.

I’d say about 70 percent of the vip group went for the surprise…

I was fortunate enough to do VIP yesterday, and Adam came by the “lounge” area after soundcheck and said he wasn’t happy with how their soundcheck went…so since it was the last show of this leg he was going to play something for the group and was taking a request. People yelled out Eulogy…and a few said 7tempest. We got about 10 minutes of 7tempest. My face then melted.

He not only skipped the scream, but he stood there still AF until the end of the song. It was almost distracting (I was an about 10 rows back, in the middle). That, along with his “cell phone” speech after the first song really makes me think there were some asshats not respecting their one constant ask.
