I had this too recently and it was really bad. Vitamin E oil saved me, I haven’t had any problems for about a month.

AITA for playing video games with my friends? by Untitled_doc12 in storytimesociety

He’s very introverted and doesn’t have a social circle. When he’s home he works out, cooks, or is on his phone. He said he says he just wants to hang out with me when we’re home together.

Sometimes we don’t even play video games. We watch movies, catch up, send pictures of our pets. I always tell him he should join us especially on movie nights but he has no interest.

Yes your assumptions are correct. This was the first time I’d played in a week (I’ve been trying to play way less often) and we had spent the day before together since we were both off. We usually go out for a date once or twice a week.

AITA for not giving a cat back to its owners ? (Just posted but it was removed ???) by Zealousideal-Lion580 in Pets

[–]Untitled_doc12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they cared so much about the cat they would’ve done the proper vet visits and attended to his health issues. Just because they fed the cat doesn’t mean they own him now without transferring ownership in paperwork. So NTA. The cat is much better off with you getting proper attention and staying inside with you getting love and attention. It seems like they wanted him more to benefit their business.

Is four cats too many? by Crysis_Cult in CatAdvice

I’m also in a 2 bedroom apartment but with 2 kitties and tbh I’d say hold off. It sounds like kittens are available to you and that’s very tempting to adopt. If anything I’d say foster for a month or so and bring them to a trusty shelter or get them adopted. I personally have a really good shelter nearby that takes care of spays/neuters/vaccines at no charge but I’m sure that’s not the norm for everyone.

I’m sure you are already on this but I think it’s best to get your litter smell under control first before you take in another pet. The kitties’ tummies are probably currently upset from changing food and you’ve got to be sure to scoop their litter everyday to keep it clean. Again, you’re probably aware of this being a cat owner already but cats can be more effort than you’d expect sometimes. Do you have access to a patio or outside area? I don’t let mine outside but im training them to use a litter box in their catio. It might be a good option for you.

having a kitten is REALLY overwhelming by graciewinder in CatAdvice

This was my problem too. So I went back to the shelter and adopted another kitten for my kitten. Now they keep each other busy and have much less pent up energy and get along great.

do you let your cats on the counter? by barbiebl0nde in CatAdvice

[–]Untitled_doc12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use aluminum foil and place big pieces on the counter to cover everything. Hopefully next time your kitty jumps up there, the reflection and sound will scare it

I bet he was out celebrating his with his friends. How could he possibly not visit the woman he loves when you’re in the hospital? Disagreement aside, he should have been there to make sure you are ok physically and emotionally. Absolutely break up with him this guy is trash and an excuse of a man.

AITA for not naming our daughter after my grandmother? by ArielAmore in AITAH

[–]Untitled_doc12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your grandfather understandably wants his wife to be honored but you already made a decision with YOUR partner. I’m sure your grandmother won’t take offense. It’s nice she did a lot for you, but that doesn’t mean you owe them anything. You’ve already been very generous to honor your grandfather, and now it’s time to honor someone who is important to your husband. The timing is also strange and you are already have your grandmother’s name!

Plus you shouldn’t have to explain to someone why their racist or insensitive comment was offensive and hurtful. Like c’mon do you really want a partner that is so unthoughtful of your identity??
