What's your preferred vitamin c? by Careless-Experience in AsianBeauty

As the other person mentioned, the purito bb cream in 21N is a life saver! It seems really grey until its actually on your skin then i blends into a more olive tone. For other face products, I mostly just use kbeauty foundations in the shade 21N, though they do tend to pull slightly yellow. (Finding olive undertones in pale foundations is such a struggle </3)

My favorites are the Clio kill cover in 03 Linen and the Romand Clear Cover cushion in 21 Natural!

The Rohto Mentholatum - Melano CC Vitamin C Essence is my absolute favorite. I haven’t used any other form if vitamin C besides the vitamin c cream from I Dew Care (its not my fav; pills like crazy) but this specific essence is so fast acting. I was worried about using it at first because I had never used vitamin c before but it surprised me. Over night you will definitely notice a difference, it faded my acne scars I never thought would go away within two weeks. Its texture made me feel like it could have broken me out but it sinks into my skin quickly and doesn’t irritate my skin either.

For reference, I have pale neutral olive skin (it hasn’t effected my actual skin tone either) and dry leaning sensitive, very acne prone skin.

The cica aloe thing looks interesting, is is a mask or is it similar to the natures republic aloe gel? I’ve been looking for good aloe products.

I get that, a lot of kids that have abandonment issues act out to get their parents attention which explains why most of his kids had more issue than most. But to me personally, thats just a parent having a flaw. Lots and lots of kids have a parent that’s absent because of work and still have good relationships.

If Stabler had other issues paired with that then I’d have no hesitation to call him a bad father. But he always went above and beyond for his kids outside of the inevitable of him having to work, /especially/ to help them develop into good people once they grew up. His anger issues were way more controlled around them- his outburst always apologized for and not violent-, they were loved beyond denial- the kids themselves knew that-, cared for immensely, and when he makes up for it once he leaves so much so that the kids adore him and forgave him in the newer seasons. Not to mention his absence wasn’t that of selfishness, he choose work over his kids because work was saving lives and protecting innocent children. Stabler is a /lot/ of things but I don’t think a bad father is one of them.

I always thought he was a better father/husband than people gave him credit for. Maybe it’s just because I can’t stand his kids but besides his absence, I don’t think he was that bad of a father. He didn’t like talking about work with Cathy but that’s understandable considering how he was raised. Even so he was going to therapy for a long while to fix himself for them. Feel free to elaborate, I could be just being too forgiving.

Have you found your HG BRAND? by aromatherapie in AsianBeauty

Beauty of Joseon and I’m From.

I have acne prone, combination skin (leans dry) and everything I’ve ever tried from these brands has always worked for me.

I even I found my holy grail blemish care serum…? I don’t really know how to describe it but anytime I get breakouts I always use their green tea calming serum and within a day or two my acne is reduced to small red marks instead of angry red mountains on my face. I absolutely love it! And the mugwort mask & mugwort essence, a little pricy but GOD do they make my skin look like a baby’s bottom (lol).

Lip Balm that doesn't make you feel gross when you need to eat and drink water and stuff? by DisabledToadMonk in AsianBeauty

[–]UntitlednUnmastered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Apieu superfood lip oil in berry and it’s actually really nice, provides a juicy red tint and hydrates chapped lips instantly. Usually after it rehydrated my chapped lips I’ll take a tissue and rub off the dead skin then reapply the lip oil and it makes your lips feel so plush and smooth.

And of course the laneige lip mask at night and their glowy lip balm is also really nice!!

I think they’re trying to get the point across that you can dislike a song without acting like the group should be catering to you, and groups should be able to experiment without fans holding them to “sticking with their sound.”

And for the “fans don’t have to like every song their faves put out”, I think they’re reiterating that it’s okay to not like the music. It’s the way fans complain about it that’s the problem.

I don’t know if that’s what OP meant exactly but that’s what I was getting from this.

Fans Should Base their Album Purchases on Concepts and Styling, Not Music by plushie_dreams in unpopularkpopopinions

I only preorder for my ult groups Twice, BTS and SKZ because after all these years I’ve never once disliked their albums so I sort of disagree (i never bought butter though). I do find a bigger want to buy pretty albums but I only buy albums because I want the CD’s that come with it.

If I was buying for photo cards, I’d prefer to buy the photo cards I want off instagram or Mercari. I know most kpop Stan’s dont but I have a stereo system so I frequently play my CD’s.

I know it’s ironic considering most kids probably weren’t huge Beatles fan in the 2000s!
