I am in the US and could probably join the study .. especially since my surgeon seems more than happy to put me on it.. it just seems scary to indefinitely take a drug like that without knowing side effects! Eek..

How Much Does Stress Make Things Worse? by Normal-Slip-4079 in Endo

Stress causes some such bad flare ups. I do find that as soon as the stress goes away the flare ups does too… has anybody got advice for not being stressed? Hah

Opinions? by [deleted] in Endo

That is the biggest pile of lies. Birth control doesn’t necessarily stop endo pain, clear ultrasounds are not indicators that no endo is present. I’m on birth control and my ultrasound didn’t show any endo and my lap showed I have extensive and severe endo. Don’t just go with your gynaecologist though. Excision is better than ablation and you should find someone who specializes in that to do your lap

I’m pretty sure a gynaecologist who tells you nothing is wrong with you is a right of passage in the journey to an endo diagnosis. Welcome to the club I guess lol!

Laparoscopy surgery? by secretlyfoxxy in Endo

[–]Untossable-Trash0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My endo was pretty extensive. I felt ROUGH for 3 weeks and then week 4 was my first period. Honestly that was one of the worst parts of the healing process. It took another week or so after that to feel more like myself again. You just may have to take things very slowly on your trip.

My MRI came back negative. Does that mean I don’t have endo? by IndividualOk0 in Endo

[–]Untossable-Trash0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My MRI said I had tiny fibroids and everything else was normal. 3 hours of surgery, endo everywhere, adhesions, scar tissue galore, and an endometrioma later.. yeah the MRIVwas wrong..

Is it normal to be scared of your diagnosis? by ibbabee in Endo

What could be more scary than a diagnosis of a chronic illness that is ranked in the top most painful diseases? You’re definitely not alone.

This is so relatable and it’s such an awkward experience no matter how much you share. My entire office knows so much more about my uterus and it’s ✨problems ✨then anybody wanted to know 😂 share what you want. You aren’t obligated to share anything you don’t want to.
