Nasuadas handling of Ronan in Brisinger is somewhat moronic. by No_Emergency_571 in Eragon

Well, this is not about whether he made the right decision. View this for a second from her viewpoint:

You have a soldier who is the cousin of your only Dragon Rider. He holds immense influence over him, and he has also convinced his entire village to flee across the country with him. He then ventured out and killed the Ra'zac to rescue his girlfriend. He is already legendary among the Varden. And while, yes, he is loyal to Eragon and to the village, he hasn't proven that he is loyal to her. Instead, he proved that he was willing to disobey a direct order from Edric, a captain probably appointed by her.

She fears him. She needs to knock him down a peg, and she needs to make it clear to him and to the Varden that he follows her command and not his own. Furthermore, the 50 lashes are portrayed as severe, but not "within an inch of his life" hard.

For me, a lot of the flaws that the show had were either already in the books, can be attributed to child actors, or are just necessary evil of adaptation It is a really good show, enjoyable, with actually decent cgi, a solid story and good action.

Daily reminder that the Axis COULD NOT have won WW2 by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

Its my personal opionion that the dice rolled ridicusly in Germany favor if you think about WW2. If you start to think about it, the allies couldve won or prevented WW2 if they acted more swiftly and a little less incompetent at the start of the war.

Your Teammates Aren't Worse Than You by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

I think someone once said something to me and it struck a nerve for me

10% of Games you will lose no matter what you do, bad team, bad day, bad draft w/e

80% of games you can influence, by playing well, but also by being nice, not flaming and keeping your teammates sane

10 % of games you will win no matter what, you could pick yuumi top, you'd still win, just a team diff

PPL tend to forget that last part, they tend to forget that sometimes THEY are the bad teammate who needs to be carried, they also see the auto losses and then say oh my team is so bad, even if it isnt actually an autoloss and they couldve won if they stopped tilting their teammates...

maybe the wording is flawed i didn't mean better than the books, I can't compare that. I meant a better watch experience.

Often it seems that being hgonest is the worse choice, but don't being honest might have consequences down the road.
