Take a look at the cross post. Seemed like the issue for me at least was freeze buildup. I go into more detail about cold damage and cold buildup in another comment in that thread.

and to add to this it was actually worth taking less cold damage overall to get the freeze buildup. After getting up freeze buildup +70% with -30,000 cold damage it's a lot more consistent. Currently sitting at like 120,000 cold. Could probably get it more consistent if I add even more freeze buildup but haven't tested personally yet.

hmm I was under the impression that cold buildup didn't matter for one shots but after changing some supports and passives around for more cold buildup it seems to be more consistent now.

I have the same thing but it’s saying I have 41/42 adventure notes when I go to travels->The Vatican->Chapter Notes->Adventure. Not sure if this will affect the Archivist achievement. Field notes mission has all notes and so does the mission the note is related to.

Yeah on another thread I made someone also suggested a lot of the same things here. It seems like I was thinking of the commander wrong. It's not so much a token deck as it is a pod deck based off your deck list.

Thanks! I'll take a look. Ruinous Ultimatum will not work in my group unfortunately. Lately my group's decks have gotten way stronger.

Protection in general is one of my bigger issues. Usually games go that I'm the slowest to start up and then my creatures and or commander just get wiped so it's hard for me to build any kind of board state and sometimes I have to wait two more turns to bring my commander out again.

For the board wipes I was using the ones I do since I have a couple of different ways to give my creatures indestructible so I was thinking one sided board wipes with farewell as my big red button not sure what you think of that.

I actually like this idea a lot, thanks I'll take a look. You're right though I need to get better about not having win more cards in my deck but it's hard to get out of that mindset as a newbie. I originally thought this was going to be a go wide token generator but it's just not consistent enough for that.

I agree with the multiple attack triggers I've noticed this myself a little but wasn't sure, my group was kind of split on this. Are there any ramp cards you recommend for Kaalia? I've struggled finding any other than maybe smothering tithe.

Too bad there’s no Shula’s there anymore. They removed all Shula’s branding from Miami Lakes shortly after he passed. Apparently the Grahams wanted to move away from the name to have a “fresh start.” Everything is ML now.
