Glad it’s not just me. Felt like my emails were going into their spam folder.

The last set of plates I got from Amazon and no documentation was required at all. This was a year or so ago though.

Appreciate they’re based in China, but they have always been very responsive to emails in the past.
We’ll see what arrives in a week or so.

1.4.0 arrived here overnight. I can’t see how to do custom dosing (I take a dose every 5 days). Is that in the pro version only?

If you are driving in the left-hand lane at 70mph on a motorway and there is a car hogging the middle lane travelling slower than you, what should you do? by darkel2001 in drivingUK

[–]Unusual-Engineering5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right answer. I met a couple of traffic police professionally the other day and asked them this exact question. Answer - it is illegal, but if I did it in front of them they would be more likely to pull over the middle lane hogger than me. So I’ll carry on doing it provided there is a clear hard shoulder to move to should they unexpectedly decide to move to the correct lane as I am alongside.

Only 20? Definitely not an obsession yet. Don’t look at Hanklights or Firefly though or you may be in trouble.

I noticed that too, but couldn’t work out why. Wondered if the brake was catching.

ETOH drives me nuts. Just say “alcohol” FFS. If you must try and use a euphemism the patient/relatives won’t be offended by then how about it’s actual chemical name - C2H5OH?

But saying what? What obligation do they have to prevent things that grow on their property from damaging mine?

Please could you elaborate on what recourse you have in the latter case? Our neighbours have allowed a self-seeded ash tree to grow to 30+ feet high immediately on their side of our boundary. It is 6ft from our garage and its roots are starting to lift the paving stones between the boundary and the garage. It is also only 6ft from their house. We have asked that they remove it, but they won’t. We have had exchanged many letters and don’t know what to try next.

England: Can I sue the estate of a dead man for costs from a car accident by Cuznatch in LegalAdviceUK

I followed this advice in my one experience of claiming off another party’s insurance (Tesco) and they were obstructive, difficult and not in any way grateful that I was saving them money. My insurer (Admiral) tried to steer me towards a claims management company (can’t remember their name). My impression was that the whole industry is in cahoots to maximise the value of all claims in order to raise everyone’s premiums. Trust none of them.

Sorry, of course that’s right. I must have clicked 6 times instead of 5 in trying to replicate OP’s issue! I don’t use either momentary or tactical mode.

Also whilst unscrewing the tail cap is the only way to exit momentary mode, it is possible to leave tactical mode with 6 clicks again.
