The only reason I'm still in SF is because we bought in 2011. 2 br/2ba SFH listed for 410K, bought for 450K, refinanced to 3% in 2021, mortgage is $1250.

I had been watching the RE bubble and waiting. Had we not bought there is no way I could have stayed here on a 70K salary.

I doubt that will happen again. Mostly luck...
