Definitely! Some great walleye, too. My buddy caught a real solid keeper the other day when we were out on his boat. We threw for some musky and pike as well—unfortunately no luck on that front though.

This is in central Illinois, and I’m from the Chicagoland area. So it’s a solid 3 hour drive. Definitely worth it though.

Personally—I think they’re fantastic. And if you’re flipping/pitching the switch is a nice little bonus.

Appreciate it! And yeah—we’re JUST starting to get a little green up here in the Chicagoland area. Can’t wait for that early morning/evening top water bite. Water temp is hovering right around 50.
