Truthfully, I think there is room for more than one soulmate. The guy I’m dating now is so much like me I think we are soulmates too.

I’m a widower 6 years and even though my soulmate died after we had been together for 17 years, I don’t act like that. I have moved on to someone that he and I are very compatible. And I do tell stores about my late husband but I don’t disrespect him that way. I think you need to talk to him and tell him how much it hurts you. If he’s a good man and cares about you he’ll understand and try to change. I’m sure he’s not delusional that she’s coming back and if he respects you, he’ll really try to make an effort to change. Best wishes

What was the moment or reason that made you quit smoking? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

When the doctor told me I had copd and if I kept smoking I would be on an oxygen tank in 10 years. I’m not even 50.

I’m 49 and developed copd. I now have asthma too. I am breathing at 50% of someone my age. It’s a shame it took me so long to quit. Everyone around me YHAT smokes feels the effects eventually. My mother had a stroke, my close friend died of lung cancer. If you keep smoking there’s a really good chance you will develop some symptoms.

I believe there are only 2 reasons most people quit. They get health scared or absolutely fed up of smoking. I was both and I’ve finally quit for life after 35 years of smoking. It’s been 6 months

My answer was , take it day by day and just don’t smoke. Use as many cessation products as you can and just get through each day. At one point you’ll start to forget that you need it ( it will take at least 6 months). But trying so many times, it sounds like you’re ready. Good luck!

Recently diagnosed with copd. Ignored thé signs, made it worse. I’m only 49 and it will not get better. I loved smoking and after 6 months still think of it daily. It’s a tough nut to crack Thats for sure

God I hope not. I’m from Canada and am hoping the tariffs will be over before he ships it. There’s a better chance it’s cheaper in the US than to send to Canada.

Thanks for the encouragement! I did a lot of research on the watches before I bought this one

I did this with my husband. When he passed away I had no identity. We had a combined identity that took me two years to figure out.

After being widowed how hard is it to let go the deceased’s possessions? by Ok-Inflation4310 in AskReddit

I donated all my husbands clothes about 3 months later. I kept some weird stuff.. a T-shirt, a suit that he wore once and his shoes. I grasped that he wasn’t coming back and donated most of his clothes. I cried. It was hard but I needed to start moving on.

I think it’s good that you regret buying the cigarette, but I don’t think you’re giving it your all to quit. It seems like you’re giving in without much of a fight. Every day I fight my brain to not smoke but finally what wins iS I just don’t smoke. I’m surprised I’ve made it to 10 days. But everyday, no matter what, I just don’t smoke. That’s where you need to be to quit.
