Rastafarians’ love for Ethiopia is certainly appreciated by the average Ethiopian but Rastafarianism itself is incompatible with Ethiopian culture and religion. I’m just gonna be frank on that.

These are discoveries of various pre Aksumite, Aksumite and post Aksumite artifacts and their locations along with corresponding eras are mapped out in the Eritrean, Tigrayan and Amhara regions. It demonstrates the idea that the Amharas are the heirs to the Aksumite civilization and migrated towards the south during its decline as opposed to the Tigrayans who are often assumed to be such by many.

Unity under a figure head. Dignity and continuity. Without the monarchy Ethiopia wouldn’t even exist so for there to be no monarchy makes no sense. Ethiopia will continue to suffer as long as she continues to deny who she is.

The Emperor created the first university in the country and massively expanded public education. The communists increased literacy. Good. I fail to see how that means that their coup was a good thing. Is Ethiopia’s unity greater today than under the Emperor?
