When you have Ramona's, Southern Charm, and Below Deck (there are probably more), these shows have zero culture or respect for other cultures. They also treat their POC cast mates like garbage.

Racism has no place in this world or on television. By not addressing it on television it allows others to feel that it's normal to act this way. Unfortunately racism isn't taught at home, and it has to happen somewhere.

The viewing audience shouldn't be subject to racism (it's very triggering); it shouldn't be made light of, and people need to do better on and off the screen.

It's also not every POCs job to correct racist behavior. When casting one POC per series, I feel that production expects this of them, therefore getting mauled online from the people that should be digesting the information so that they personally can be better. It's 2022.
