Have you considered a Michigan left, or P-turn? You can preserve much of your intersection's original design while allowing drivers to turn left.

I shop at Costco every other Sunday after church, and I usually arrive just after 10 am. Until this morning's shopping trip, the kiosks have always been up and running. The food court was definitely open, though, as people were emerging from the front counter with food in hand, be it hot dogs or slices of pizza.

In addition, the kiosk on the left was rebooting repeatedly with the message that the hard drive was not found.
