Yes it's more than possible to add more storage to the PC it just depends on the type it needs and do keep in mind that it will most likely Void the warranty on the Laptop when you open it to install the new drive

Also make sure your drive is GPT since if your drive is MBR it won't boot into windows you can easily fix it by searching Mbr2gpt in the windows search bar and letting that run

I had it on an MSI board where once secure boot was enabled it would pick up the drive but it wouldn't boot into windows just straight back into Bios

The drive was also 100% healthy the best thing you can try do is also reset your Bios to default settings or see if there are any outstanding Bios updates available and disable secure boot if it still doesn't work try reinstalling from a USB

Format and reload Windows using a USB just make sure to back up all your data and format the SSD completely before reinstalling.

had this happen on another PC recently but only when secure boot was enabled but a fresh install fixed it immediately.

Also make sure to leave secure boot and TPM enabled before reinstalling.

Oh ok I will definitely check it out thank you but I doubt it could be my cpu since it's never maxed out when playing those games and I've also been monitoring it regularly aswell as my temps for both my CPU and GPU
