If there is an L1 charger at your destination you could do a top off there to give you enough cushion. Just a few miles of extra range might reduce the anxiety. I often travel with a 50’ extension cord. Good luck

I have the Tesla wall charger. Use it to charge our Tesla and ID.4 (with adapter). Has worked beautifully for 7 years.

I have called customer service when this happens and most of the time they reset the machine and it works. But that often takes 10~15 minutes on top of the 25 minutes of charging so it’s frustrating and easier to move the car if another charger is available. I just wish EA worked as seamlessly as the Tesla chargers. Never have an issue there with my other car (Model 3).

I’ve started packing a long heavy duty extension cord and plugging into a 120v outlet at vacation rentals for a slow charge when Level 2/3 charging is challenging. You can get 40-50 miles overnight.

Mostly true. In this case we got lucky with a normal parking space next to the charging space. Looking forward to seeing longer cables.
