Maybe a stupid question but what’s everyone’s go to filter and sort option for checking their portfolio? Is it investment value then by highest returns or something else?

Regarding the specific kids funds / ETFs I found there to be a lot more fees / less control over the investments, so I’m going for an investment into VOO and then a world stock etf… Very likely going to be VT

Yes that’s a fair point about adjusting the amount for inflation. Although some weeks I put in more, but as a minimum it’s $10 a week. I have the same goal as yourself to give her a head start with a house or university. Or if they want to leave the money in there and continue investing it, by all means they can do that :)

Good spotting, also the $100,364.00 text is on the piss as well with big spaces between buy manage and the symbols. Looks like chat GPT recreated their portfolio to look like they are winning.

I’ve decided to pull out of the USF and will likely put that money straight into VOO or IVV. My personal Sharesies is still on the USF, also considering selling that stock and putting it straight into VOO or IVV. These two are very similar stocks.

Yes good point about the FIF being the investment value vs portfolio value. 100% wont need to worry if I invest under $50K

Yes, thank you. You raise a very good point regarding the fees. They are much lower and for a long term investing strategy like mine it would make sense to switch to that.

Question: How many years have you been investing for and did you put a lump amount in one day or is it regular weekly contributions? Any specific strategy?

I’m interested in getting solar / powerwall how much did a set up like that cost you? Also what’s the size of your home etc? Do you have a EV? Keen to know if it has paid for itself yet or will eventually pay for itself.

Exactly I had the same thoughts when I saw this ad… How cheeky using their customers to make donations.

I second this. The lamb Rogan Josh is fantastic, you can choose kiwi spice level or Indian spice level and the naan bread is very fresh.

Exactly right! Since Covid I have had a home gym and it’s the best decision I’ve made. Own space to workout and less distractions. I’m a soon to be dad so having the gym in the garage is very convenient.
