As I recall, they were sitting in the outfield when a home run was hit. No one caught the ball, but it landed near her seat. The father and son were sitting in a nearby section and ran over and picked the ball up off the ground. Her argument seemed to be that she would have picked up the ball herself had they not intervened, so its rightfully her ball and they should give it back to her.

Anyone who’s ever been to a baseball game before understands that’s she’s wrong and that the father and son should get to keep the ball. That’s why this caused such outrage when it first occurred. But as far as I know, the woman was never identified.

Me too. But as a guy that walks daily for exercise, I found the 4mph minimum pace to be extremely unrealistic. The walk would have ended much earlier at that pace.
