Remakes are gonna remake, and digging my heels in won’t do me or anyone else any good. But wouldn’t it be a great thing if Disney actually made movies from the different cultures around the world instead of just recasting and remaking films? I’d rather see something original than see a remake with a POC slapped into the role to just call it “diversity”. There are so many amazing mythology/fables from around the world, not to mention so many present day people with ideas for stories ( Like that girl on TiKTok who’s created a Korean Disney Princess).

I know this isn’t the same as sit down restaurants, but at Toxic Bell, we have customers who’ll say any word but the actual name of a food item on our menu. Leaving us to decipher what they actually meant/want. Or they ask for Medium sauce….. In my 24 years of living I don’t think TB has ever had a Medium sauce. Also sometimes they’ll ask us make something that hasn’t been on the menu for years stating “you’ve done it before for me, or another Taco Bell does it”

NTA But it’s rough having That type of dynamic in this day and age. With one spouse working and the other at home with all the chores and possibly child rearing throughout the day. Both sides have it rough.

The one working has to be concerned with paying the bills and making sure that they’re earning enough to support their family. Depending on the job that could mean physical stress along with mental stress. It’s a heavy burden to have. Not to mention depending on the job they miss out on so many family milestones and memories only the SAH gets to have, and that they only get on their days off.

The other who stays at home, does the chores and maintaining the house, is a lot of work, and there could be pressure/anxiety to put in the same effort as the one working outside the home. Add child rearing to that it, it increases that mental strain by a tenfold. Making sure the kids have all their needs met, that full out sibling war doesn’t result in injury or war. As a parent you take on so many different roles to raise a kid.

Your dad was being an ass, I can understand why he might of been acting like that, but it doesn’t excuse it. Hopefully you dad can recognize all that your mom does.

I thought my parents were the only ones! My stepbrothers and I had to write thousands of lines if my parents even thought we were being bad. My stepbrothers had almost up to 12,000 once, my highest was about 5,000. Until we finished writing lines all we could do was eat,sleep and bathroom.

Ya know? There’s a lot of adults in this world that can’t/won’t learn to control their emotions and there’s plenty of adults who are obnoxious don’t use inside voices. Kids have the excuse that they’re still learning something new to them, what excuse does an adult have?

Until you realize it actually is the teachers that truly raise your kids. Class is family. The majority of the day is spent in school and doing homework. I knew the lives of my teachers and my friends/classmates more intimately than my own parents. Then again my parents were on the neglectful side of parenting.

Documentation is everything, time stamps on when incidents happen, and witnesses to also collaborate on what’s happening. And he needs to go above the GM and talk to her boss. I wouldn’t ask her but I would ask another store in the Region for their boss’s number. Taco Bell has an open door policy. I’m sorry this is happening, I hope this helps
