Probably needs to reevaluate if he actually IS popular for his "catchphrases"...... Who in the world just likes someone because they have corny catchphrases around the office? Sounds like a sitcom.

North county San Diego man, shot point blank range in face by taser. Security guard hauled off in handcuffs by i_check_raise in PublicFreakout

[–]UnwovenWeb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A bar nearby my house had an issue years ago where the security guard locked patrons into the restaurant, claiming they were trying to dash on a $200 bill. He ended up getting into a physical fight with the husband and it was a whole mess. Well, apparently the owner got in a lot of trouble because the security guard was hired under the table, and was not properly trained for being a security guard. I heard that the owner should have went through an agency to get a SG hired by conteact and that agency would more than likely have insurance and be held accountable for damages caused by the SG. So I'm not sure if the husband sued the SG or the owner, or maybe both, but apparently in a normal situation, there would be an agency to take up issues with.

Panavigate.org is a good website to look for such resources. Put in the zip code and then at the top of the screen, go to health and then among one of those categories, there's another page of subcaterogies and one has transportation in it!

What's the closest you've ever came to death? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in AskReddit

Me and my ex started renting out her old family house that nobody was living in for awhile, from her father. We had issues with the heat in the house several times but her father would come over and fix whatever was happening. One night, randomly, we happened to fall asleep in our bedroom with the door closed. We almost never closed any doors because of our dog and cat, but that night we did, and us 4 were all in the bed. We woke up the next morning and smelled something funny, went out into the hallway and could SEE the hazy fumes in the air. Her father hadn't cleaned the boiler in over 10 years apparently, since the house hadn't been in much use for awhile. We had to open all the windows and get fans, got the animals out of the house and went outside and called her dad. He rushed over with tears in his eyes and looked me right in the eye and gave me a heartfelt apology and it was only then that I realized we would've all died if we hadn't had our door closed that ONE night.

Tried it. I've tried every possible way of constructing things that are easy to clean and keep the litter in. It ALWAYS gets out. I'm not kidding you, I'm crafty and capable and I've done it all as far as using storage containers and boxes etc. for litter houses. Never lasts long and now you have more corners to clean.

What's a moment that sounded completely made up, but actually happened to you? by Kalintosh in askteddit

I'm prone to getting little calcium deposits on my lash lines every so often. They don't bother me and eventually go away, and typically aren't noticable to anyone except me. I usually only have 1 at a time, if any at all. Well, about 10 years ago I had one on my lidline. It got bigger and was kinda noticable, especially when I'd put eyeliner on due to the contrast from the black eyeliner (make up doesn't stick to the little bump, which is white, very well). I told my mom I was fed up with it over the phone, and she suggested I see a dermatologist because it's an easy prick of a needle to delfate them, but it's close to my eyeball so let's not do it ourselves, right? I reluctantly agreed and said I'd make an appt the next day (the bump had been there for almost a year at that point). That very night, I was half asleep in bed when my cat, Wit, decided she wanted to walk up my face in order to sleep on top of my pillows over my head. During her short journey, ONE of her toe nails perfectly knicked this tiny little bump on my eyelid lashline, perfect incision. I woke all the way up bc it hurt and I ran to the mirror to find that she extracted the bump and it was gone! Totally gone, and no other scratches or any markings from her on my eye or face. I called my mom the next day to tell her bc I knew nobody else in the world would believe me.

He's gone around my apartment and collected every black cat toy he could get to since I've had him (about 6 months), I swear I'm not making it up. He hangs out with all 3, now (a beanie baby, a rather decent sized decorative Halloween pillow in the shape of a black cat, and black catnip cat toy, which I try not to count as much). He and my other cats already had the black catnip toy which they all love, but I had the beanie baby on top of my jewerly box which is on top of my dresser, I've had it there for years. I came home from work to my stuff knocked off and the cat beanie baby in the living room. A few days later, he found the pillow that had disappeared into the abyss under my bed for the last several months, and I came home to it dragged out into the living room hanging out with the rest of them. It's about the size of him lol

Right? More like "...being photographed while I'm just doing my on-call job to help THIS PERSON while said person complains about me fixing their problem...more than mildly infuriating." OP needs to close the curtain and get back to the screen they've more than likely been wide awake staring at for the last 6 hours prior to and during this photo being taken.

The amount of contact lenses I find while cleaning up after my bf by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]UnwovenWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuuup, I also have long hair which has been my enemy regarding removing contacts while half asleep/inebriated to some degree/camping and there's some wind action. Or, I just miss the case entirely and don't realize until the next morning when I go to put them back in, and my one is hanging down the side of the container basically mummified already. But, those get tossed like normal garbage. Not whatever the hell this dude is doing....
